Makhana (foxnuts, lotus seeds) – 150 gms
2 tbsp A2 desi ghee
1/2 tsp jeera (cumin seeds)
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp black pepper powder
1 tsp kashmiri chilli powder
1/3 tsp garam masala
1/2 tsp amchur powder (dry mango powder)
Pink himalayan salt as needded
this masala makhana will stay good at room temerature for many months if kept in an airtight glass container.
the addition of A2 desi ghee helps in better assimilation of fat soluble vitamins.
